About this experience

Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler each bring a different side of British Columbia to this seven-day small group journey, from waterfront city elegance to island charm and alpine air. Travel is by private coach and BC Ferries, with Tour Director guidance throughout and stays at three Fairmont properties along the way.

From Vancouver, the route crosses the Gulf Islands by ferry to Victoria, where a private tour and tasting at Seaside Cider Farm & Ciderhouse and a whale-watching cruise on the Salish Sea fill out two nights at the Fairmont Empress. The journey then continues north over the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler, with a stop at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre for a guided tour and dream catcher activity led by a First Nations guide, before two nights at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.

Along the route

In Vancouver, guided sightseeing takes in Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park and the Bloedel Conservatory, along with a private food tour of Granville Island Market. The crossing to Vancouver Island brings guests to Victoria for a guided city tour past the Inner Harbour and Parliament Buildings, with free time to visit Butchart Gardens or take afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress. In Whistler, the final full day is at leisure, with options to explore the village, the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola or the surrounding trails, before a farewell dinner at the Bearfoot Bistro.

The per-person fare includes 6 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 2 dinners, Fairmont hotel stays in each destination, guided sightseeing, the Gulf Islands ferry crossing, and the Granville Island, Seaside Cider Farm, whale-watching and Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre experiences named above. Optional excursions in Whistler, such as a gondola ride, floatplane adventure or treetop canopy walk, are available at additional cost.

This Small Group Tours offer gives a choice of a $250 per person discount or a $500 per person Globus airdesk air credit, applied at the time of booking. Contact Emma Whiting Travel to confirm current availability and pricing for this departure.
