Bunnik Tours

Bunnik Tours is a family-owned Australian operator based in Adelaide, founded in 1997 and now running more than 600 departures a year. It built its reputation on Egypt and now operates across Europe, Asia, Africa, South and Central America and Australia.

The defining feature is group size. Classic tours are capped at 20 travellers and In-Style tours at 16, with some African itineraries smaller again at 12. Bunnik still uses full-size 40-seat coaches for those groups, so there are empty seats on board and nobody is sitting beside a stranger for six hours.

Pricing is quoted on an all-considered basis, with international airfares included in the advertised fare on most international tours, which makes comparison against other operators more straightforward than it first appears.

Tours are built for what the company describes as the not-too-young and not-too-old, and are sold only to Australian and New Zealand residents. Solo travellers can either pay a single supplement or share with another traveller of the same gender.
